Yes we did add the CYA via sock method dissolved fast!!! Ph is still 6.8

Do not test for CYA for a week - it is just a waste of reagents.

You need to adjust the pH ASAP. Get it around 7.4ish. Once that is done, retest TA and adjust, if necessary to about 70.

How much CYA did you add?

You can direct one of the return jets to break the surface of the water
That will help raise ph
You can raise your ta using baking soda
Also like Richard said you can use borax to raise your ph

BTW if you're doing the FAS-DPD FC/CC test (the one with the powder and two reagents) you don't need to do the OTO test (the one that reads CL-BR) at the same time. The idea is that you can use OTO for "quick and dirty" tests when FC levels are low, and use the FAS-DPD test when you need a more accurate result or need high FC levels.
