Pool pump issue

I have a 1.5hp on my 15 x 30' above ground oval pool.
The pump has been working fine.......until a day or two ago.
Had good in-flow and out flow, pressure guage on pump has been steady.
We have had ALOT of rain the last week or so, and now there is minimial inflow and the return seems weak also.
The pressure guage is still reading the same as before, not sure why I have lost inflow & return pressure.
I am going to check this evening if there is any blockage, but beyond that I am not sure what could be causing the reduction in flow.

First, are you positive the gauge is working properly?

I am not 100% positive, but it does adjust when I cut off water supply or open the top of the basket on the pump.
BTW, it is a cartridge style filter

turn off the pump and see if the guage goes to zero, then turn it back on and see if it returns to the same number.

I will double check that when I get home, but I am fairly certain it is at 0 when the pump is off
