When running most tests, with most test kits, the instructions tell you to swirl after adding each drop. How important is that? For example, if testing FC and you know that it is approximately 10 ppm. Will it make a difference, in your results, if you add 10 drops then swirl, add 6 drops then swirl and then as you are getting close to the final reading go a drop at a time?

I think most of us do it the short cut way you are describing. I have been doing that for 6 years or so with no loss of accuracy (that I'm aware of).
The CH test can sometimes give incorrect results if you add several drops at once. Adding several drops is fine with the FC/CC tests.
