    Pump/Filter set up

I am thinking of hard piping the pump and filter to my pool soon. I am wondering if installing in a plastic storage box is ok. I know there needs to be ventilation but how much? Trying to get cover from elements.

    Re: Pump/Filter set up

I wouldn't enclose the pump inside a box, it needs airflow for cooling. If you want to shelter it, I would build a cover with open sides instead.
