I understand that you need to have a close estimate of how many gallons of water your pool contains for proper adding of your chemicals. But what is the best way to figure out about how many gallons your pool holds?
Using a fas-dpd test down to .2 during a chlorine addition will get you darn close. Say take FC from 4 to 7 based on what you THINK your gallons are. Use Pool Math to calculate dosage required. If your check an hour later and your FC is either higher or lower than your target, your pool is either larger or smaller than what you calculated it at.
