Dirty Pool Ladder

I inherited a dirty plastic A-frame type ladder for AG pool. It has visible dirt as well as some light mold which came off easily with a powerwasher. My question is how clean does it have to be and not contaminate the new pool fill. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'd brush it down with a 50/50 bleach water solution (with gloves on) and call it good.
