I need to replace my sand filter. It is under the deck accessed with a hinged door. They put it in without a base probably so it would fit. The deck/door height is around 28 inches.
I am looking at 18 in sand or 150 sqft cartridge. Found a Jandy CS200 200-Square-Foot Single Element Cartridge Filter for $380 which looked like a good deal for its size.
Problem is most 18" sandfilters and the 150sf cartridge are around 36 inches in height and the Jandy is 42" in. Thought about digging hole further down. If I did the 42" filter, can I lay it at an angle so I can still access the filter but it lays under the deck??
