Holes from pool toys

So we have one of those large torpedo toys (looks like a whale). When the kids throw this in the water it dives quickly and often hits the side or bottom of the pool. So I have a vynl liner which had a number of small holes last time I had a guy check.

The toy has sooth end but could it be causing the holes in my liner?

I doubt it. That can not hit with more force of people jumping around.

I have a "toypedo" I assume this is similar to what you are talking about. If so I'd say it's very Unlikely.
