Solar Blanket - Water surface not completely covered?

    Hi,

I just moved into a house with a pool and when putting the solar cover on noticed it was cut to shape with bubble side up. The pool is not symmetrical so I cannot just turn it over. I can flip it over but a portion of the pool will no longer be covered (7'x1' of a 35' x 18' (approx.)) along the edge. Is it better to have the complete water surface covered bubble side up, or majority covered with bubble side down? Or should I try to get small strips to cover up the spots?

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome. I would flip it bubble side down, trim the excess and put it on the open spot. The previous owner cut it wrong if it's bubble side up.
I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!
