cloudy water

2 month old new pool, water looks crystal clear looking down, but if i open my eyes underneath its like i rubbed my eyes with vasoline. I just converted it to a salt system and my salt is 3300 ppm.

12500 gallon plaster pool, tristar VS, cartridge filter, T 9 cell, prologic PS4, everything Hayward. And yes i have taylor test kit. I run my pump at 1100 rpm 8 hours a day. I was without chlorine for 2 days, because after i cut the inline 320 out i only had a little bleach and got swamped with school.

Is this cloudy blurry under the water except with goggles. Is this normal?

Yes, your eyes need an air space in front of them in order to focus correctly

thanks never been in a salt pool before, just seemed super blurry compared to before. thanks again

That's normal. What's weird is if you normally wear glasses and you put on goggles and go under water, it's sharper focus than above the water. almost like you're wearing glasses.
