    Remove Silicone From Vinyl

Any advice on how to remove silicone from a vinyl pool???

I had to remove one of my pool light lenses in my in-ground pool and clear all the old silicone before replacing it.

    Welcome to TFP!
I'm not sure I understand. Is the silicone stuck to the liner?

correct. My pool is about 20 years old and the plastic/acrylic light lenses were siliconed directly onto the liner.

This is why I HATE silicone ... you can never remove it from anything to reseal and nothing sticks to old silicone.
Sorry, I am not sure what suggest.
