Poured too much acid in. PH is now ~6.8. SHould I let it right itself?

Since the PH test shows any PH below 6.8 as 6.8, it is best to raise the PH right away until you get it to at least 7.0.

Low PH can damage the pool/equipment. If the PH is really 6.8 the issue is very minor, but if you went way over it could be fairly significant.

Pool Math

Click on that link and enter your information regarding your pool. Then scroll down to the pH section and place your target # and your current #. Mouse over the information bar and it will tell you how much to add. Take it in steps tho, no need to overshoot and raise it too high.

And you can get 20 Mule Team in the laundry isle.
