Liner looks weird on top...like there is extra?

Hey guys,

I put up a 24 ft round pool and the liner seems like it has too much material at the top. Where I need to cut for the skimmer, now that I'm almost filled, it's billowed out quite a bit. Kind of worries me. It's a v-bead that is sized for my pool. Maybe I made the mound around the outside too big and there's just extra material?

Any ideas, things to check, possible fixes?

Pics would help a lot! How does the side look opposite of all this excess liner? Any wall buckling going on anywhere?
