I'm new to cartridge filters.
I see videos of people cleaning the cartridges by hosing the outside of the pleats.
If I understand correctly the circulation in my filter, flow takes place from the outside perimeter of the cartridge toward the inside.
If this is so, won't directing the hose flow against the pleats just embed the particulates farther into the pleats?
