    Chemical Shelf Life

Does anyone know the shelf life of chemicals like Calcium Hardness or Stabilizer? My local store often has the stabilizer on clearance end of the season and I would like to buy Calcium in a 25lbs package not knowing if I am going to use it all this season. If I had left overs and purchase some stabilizer this year would this stuff not lose its potency by next season?

Calcium and stabilizer will last years and years as long as they don't get wet.
