    available chlorine or Sodium Hypochlorite?

    The Great Value label states:

    Active Ingredient:

    Sodium Hypochlorite...................8.25%
    Other Ingredients...............91.75%
    Total.........................100%
    Yields 7.86% available chlorine

What is the percent number i enter into the pool calculator 7.86% or 8.25%?

    8.25%

PoolMath/Calculator uses the weight percentage, 8.25% in this case, which is the most common to show up on the label.
