The wrap around deck for the pool got sprayed and treated with a water seal and or clear satin. It seems that some overspray got into the pool. I have a oily type film floating on the pool surface after 2 days. How do I rid my pool of this stuff?

You need a scum bag. You can just throw it in the skimmer and it will absorb all that oil.
Scum bags work, pig mats will soak it up too. You can also use an enzyme product like Pool First Aid if you are in a hurry to clean it up.
