    Jandy Valve Setup

I have two 1.5" pipes going to my pump on from a bottom drain and another from a skimmer. I want to connect these to a three port jandy valve to be able to adjust suction to each. Can I put a suction on the "inlet" side of that valve? Meaning "T" is the valve, and the bottom of the "T" is labeled "inlet".
    1.5"➡️ T ⬅️1.5"
    ⬇️
    2" Pump Suction
    Is this setup possible?

So according to jandy the valve works opposite what I want.

2" Outlet from pump or filter

We'll that didn't publish right. The arrows on the line below the "T"s are suppose to be directly under the "T"s.

Yes, what you describe is totally fine and commonly done.
