Streaks on new pool plaster-normal or not?

Hi All,

Please take a look at this picture of my plaster. New pool has been in use for 4 months now. We noticed the marks about 1-2 months after pool's completion. The entire bottom of our pool has these streaky marks on it. Up close, these streaks appear to have tiny holes on them (like bubbles were popped on the surface). Mostly, the pool walls don't have these marks and look smooth and solid white, which makes us wonder why the bottom of the pool has these marks? If anyone knows what this is, and if it can be remedied, please advise.

Thanks!

Technically, the plaster surface will last many years, but the porous spots will become worse and attract dirt and algae easier and will be more difficult to remove.
If it were my pool that I paid good money for, I would insist on a re-plaster.
Another option is to power-sand to remove the porous spots.
