SWG Question: What is the difference between Jandy Nature2Fusion and Jandy AquaPure?

I am so confused between the two, we had a choice between Nature2Fusion and AquaPure. I read the specification and whatever material I could find on it. I thought that Nature2Fusion and AquaPure were almost the same except with Fusion2 there was a way to not use the mineral cartridge and with AquaPure I would have to use it no matter what. Now when I read different threads I am getting the impression that Nature2Fusion is not a Salt Water Generator. If it is not a SWG, then what is the purpose of it? Initially I thought Aquapure only helps if we go with Automation (Like linking it to a controller to maintain chemistry of your pool)

I would appreciate if someone who knows about it can clear my confusion. I still have an option to switch it out, even thought Now it would cost me more than it would have initially.

The AquaPure is just a SWG. The Nature2Fusion SOFT is a SWG with the mineral system as well. The Nature2Fusion INGROUND is a tablet feeder with mineral system. We never recommend the use of mineral systems.

I think the SOFT might be newer and most of the threads you are reading are about the tablet feeder version.

Stick with the SWG. Forget the minerals.

Thanks for your response. We have Nature2Fusion Soft, we specifically told the salesman that we wanted a saltwater pool. so I guess I do not need to change to AquaPure. I have read on this forum, how people discard the mineral pack and just keep using Fusion.
