I just purchased an ultra frame 18' x 48" intex pool. I've had an intex pool in the past and I'm not a fan of the small pumps that come with them, especially the filter cartridges that you constantly have to replace. Our pool turned green quite often, it felt like no matter what we did we couldn't keep it clean. As we put up the new pool I'm looking for a bigger/better pump that will help keep it clean and will not requiring changing of filters constantly. Would a hayward 3/4 hp pump be a good choice? If not, what would you suggest? Hoping to not spend a ton of $. Thank you in advance, Beth
