New to owning a pool and this forum have a question.

Hi,
I have a comupool 3800 and the FRZ signal on the panel will not turn off, the previews owners told me they did not put a FRZ sensor on the unit. When the FRZ signal is on the system will switch between the pool/spa every 15 min trying to avoid that.

How much of a DIY type are you? It shouldn't be too difficult to find where the temperature sensor should be and connect the two wires that should go to the temperature sensor together. That should make the unit think it is really hot and turn off the freeze signal.
