Finally, the build of our long wished pool has started
Last friday the builders started digging the hole in the ground. We were afraid of high levels of groundwater, but now that we are finished it looks very good.
There won't be any activity until tommorow, due to weekend and national holidays.
Specs for the pool:
8x4x1.5 meter (48 m3 water)
Normal sandfilter with pump
13 kW heatpump (we don't have gas here)
Salt electrolyses
The way of building is different then builds in USA. Overhere there are roughly 3 types of in ground builds : preformed polyester pool, steel wall pool (oval) or architectonic build.
We will be building the last type. First dig the hol, then make a concrete foundation. Build walls with Polystyreen building blocks and fill them with concrete. After that it's just a matter of placing the liner and you're done.
Tommorow we will be doing the foundation, and start withplacing new power lines from the house to the pumpstation.
