Chairs - Hot! Hot! Hot!

My lounge chairs are in full Texas sun all day long. Love these chairs but the arms get so hot they will melt your skin in the mid afternoon and it's not all that hot yet. We tried putting towels over the arms and that helped but then you need two towels for each person. One of the members here was talking about the dollar store pool noodles and using them for pipe insulation and it hit me! They worked great! Two bucks and covered three chairs! We'll see how long they last.

I doubt it - I would think the paint would melt/dissolve the foam. That's kind of why I picked the blue over the other colors - at least they match the towels! I'd try it but I spent my last dollar on these!!!!
