    testing for FC

My Taylor test kit has arrived. My question is about testing for free chlorine. After adding the titrant to the point of going colorless from pink, if I wait a couple of seconds the water turns faintly pink again. Should I add more of the titrating reagent?

No. If you leave it alone it will always turn pink again. Just ignore that.

Thanks for the info. Until now, I have always used a color comparison method. This is new to me and I think it will be more accurate. I'm really looking forward to bypassing the pool store since the nearest one is 16 miles away.
