CL levels after fighting algae?

O.K So plan on losing half the FC level thoughout the day?
Bump it to 8ppm at night if I want to maintain 4ppm?
Before this bloom I don't think I ever bumped it higher then 3 or 4 ppm.

You'll have to allow for the loss during the day so that the chlorine doesn't get below 4ppm before the next evening if that's where you want to keep it. I'd nudge the CYA up to 40ppm to cut down on your daily loss.
