Only took 1/4 cup of DE to raise filter pressure?

I am SLAMing today. Just got back from the store with DE to add to my sand filter I put in shock level liquid chlorine first. Then added 1/4 cup of DE as recommended here, not the 1 cup suggested on the side of the box.

Pressure gage before 1/4 cup of DE:
10 PSI

Pressure gage after 1/4 cup of DE:
11+ PSI (but not 12)

Is that all I do for now?

Yea, you are fine. Check the filter in a few hours and see if the pressure has gone down, just as a double check, but that is probably all you need for your specific filter.
