My booster pump seized, the bag is kaput, and my Polaris 280 is looking pretty worse for wear.
I was thinking of "the pool cleaner" or MX-8 to replace it, but the dealer has this "Zodiac Vortex 1", which he claims is a robot for basically the same price (or cheaper) than my Polaris or the MX-8. It looks pretty simple.
I can't find any threads on it, but not having to get out the hose/booster pump or hook the MX-8 hose to my skimmer sounds appealing.
