Longevity of reagents?

Ok, we are on a tight budget and I'm debating between the TF-50 and TF-100. When I say tight, I mean tight! Yes $20 makes a difference. If we invest in the TF-100 won't it be a waste if the kit ingredients expire?

I looked this up on the sticky above and gave up after 7 pages. Could not find the info.

If stored carefully (cool and dark uniform temperature above freezing) the reagents in the kit should last two years.
