Intellichlor IC40 salt sensor

Talked to Pentair today....they insisted that the salt sensor was on the flow sensor assembly. ...
I do not believe that is correct.
Does anyone know for sure?

You have 2 salt sensor probes.

The flow sensor assembly has both a flow sensor and a temperature sensor. As I understand it, the salt reading is a combination of the resistance across the cell plates and the temperature reading from the temperature sensor.

Thanks for the info....I think that the temp and plate resistance makes sence. Makes me wonder if those with solid red salt Leds and no cell Leds have ever replaced the flow sensor and fixed their IC 40!!!!!
