Is there a fitting for Pro series 20x48 sfs2000 skimmer to eliminate pump?

just like the title says is there a fitting out there that would allow me to eliminate the pump for a hose to go directly to the sand filter?

Surely theres Something you guys are doing and not leaving that pump in the bottom of the skimmer right??

I think that fitting is too small for the sfs2000 skimmer??

Here is a way to make it work....at the 5:30 mark is shows the modification done to the bottom of the skimmer basket.
