Ground Protection - overkill or not?

thanks for the input amanjenn, I already started laying out the foam board but I couldn't finish because we ran out of gorilla tape and we have to go to my oldest daughter's promotion ceremony. So I will continue tomorrow. But I will keep your advice in mind if we have to redo the pool next season.

Good luck. The foam is nice and should last for more than one season. So once you have invested...you are good to go! Good luck at the ceremony. We have graduation Friday!

I finally put the foam board down and I ran out of gorilla tape. I am going to triple overlap the tape on each seam.

Looking good! You don't need a bigger hose... you just need another hose from a different faucet. It won't double your flow but it will likely give you 35-50% more flow. I had two 3/4" hoses going to mine and it was filling about 5" per hour. That came out to 979 gallons per hour. Took almost 10 hours to fill.
