What is this White Film?

All my chemicals have been right on. I noticed a white film yesterday laying on top of the pool figure I would skim it today and nope its not coming off with skimming so what could this be and how do I get rid of it? Now the kids did use the pool last weekend and I thought maybe sun tan lotion but I would think I would show before yesterday. Any advice.

Here are my chemicals this morning using the TF-100 and I also use the BBB method

FC 4 (I usually keep around 5 so ill prob add today but as 5 yesterday)
PH 7.5
TA 100
CH 100 (I have vinyl)
CYA 40

That is pollen.

Skimming does remove it, but at certain times of year new pollen falls on the pool almost as quickly as skimming can remove it.

I thought so at first too but it feels kind of greasy. I had pollen last week that I was able to skim.

That looks like white water mold. Google it, I had to deal with this in my hot tub. Does it look like little pieces of toilet paper that is slimy.

It's pollen. I have the same thing in Connecticut. You can try and skim it but it just sort of breaks up if it's been sitting in the water long enough.

Falling faster than the slimmer can keep up.
