sand filter and pump upgrade intex 16x32x52"

I have looked everywhere for this info and I am hoping you guys can help.
I would like to upgrade my Intex 16x32x52" filter and pump.
It came with a swg but I would like to change it to a Hayward pump and sand filter just not sure of the size or part number.
If any one else has done this and can give some info

Hi there and welcome to TFP... Firstly what kind of connections for your suction and return do you have??? This will help with the decision of what pump to buy... Size of the connections would also be helpful....

The valves are Intex and the thread that I have heard is a strange thread, the size is 1.5 but I have no problem if I have to modify or cut something.
