Used the spa for the first time

We used the spa for the first time tonight - the water level dropped below the tile line and an hour later it's still not coming up, is that normal?

The spa is attached, correct?

Odds are, the bodies displaced water and it spilled into the pool. When you come out of spa mode, it should refill things and have the normal draw from pool and retuirn to spa and pool setup.

Thanks Richard - yes it is attached and no it didn't pull from the pool. I waited over an hour and no rise in water level - so I put the hose in and filled it. This happened once before when they pressure tested for the leak. They changed out the valve and it was fine. Guess I'll add another thing to the list. Argh!

Normally the water level gets fixed the next time you are in spa spillover mode. That might be most of the time, but typically happens once every 24 hours, so there can be a significant wait, but it shouldn't be more than 24 hours before it fixes it's self.

If you are in a hurry you can fix it quickly by manually turning on spillover mode.
