If i purchase a pool from Walmart or an actual pool store?

Anyone have ant experience purchasing from a large retailer?

Any advice is appreciated.

What makes you think it will matter? If you are just getting one of the Intex setups, they are all the same regardless where you buy. In fact, I might suggest NOT buying at a pool store so they do not try to brainwash you with their crazy chemical sales and you just learn what you need to here.

I think I saw that Costco around here even sells them ... not sure how their warranty applies to pools though.

If they have the same size, and same equipment for less, then buy it at Wal-Mart. If not then buy it at the pool store.

I guess i want to make sure I'm not buying a junk of a pool. Would expect a pool store to carry a higher quality of pool.

All Intex are the same ... if that is what you are looking at (not sure what else Walmart even sells).

The one i am looking at is a Heritage pool. Options by local pool shops are limited. Elixir is the brand that is being praised by the local shop.

yup, go for cheapest. Also, if you are looking at a pool from walmart (or anything from walmart for that matter) ALWAYS check Walmart.com first. My 18x48 was $399.00 in store, and $349.00 on Walmart.com. Site to store shipping is free, and I saved $50 bucks buying it online and picking it up 3 hours later (because they already had it at the store)
