Hi I'm new here,this is my first post I have a Laars 125 natural gas, automatic ignition, pool heater that wont light. It wont make the sound like its trying to light. 2 years ago a service man replaced the pressure switch and left me the jump wire he used to bypass the pressure switch. I tried bypassing the pressure switch but it did not work. The unit is at least 10 years old. Any help would be appreciated,Thanks, Cavy

I have experienced this same problem, but only when the heater gets drenched after a heavy rain. Once it dries out, it works fine. Any chance that it's happening to you under similar conditions or is that not a factor in your case?
