Liner is in and the light wont turn on

OK, we finally learned the vacuum seal install... Now the new Petair Amaerilite will not turn on. My liner installer says I have a converter that reduces the 120v to 12v.... now I need the 120v. what do I need to pay attention here with this.......

I am obviously getting someone to do this....but I want to know what to ask and or question

Not really sure what you are asking here. Are you trying to install a new light or fix the old one? If it is fix the old one, is the bulb good, do you have power to it?
