a standard 2" threaded PVC fitting will screw onto the Intex SWG. You just need a lot of pipe dope. From there it is simply a bushing to adapt to 1.5" PVC pipe. It is better to have the union as close to the SWG as you can get it. It makes disconnecting and storing easier.

The threads on the Intex equipment are a metric 50mm straight thread, close in pitch to the NPT 2" taper thread. Yes, they mate up, almost, but not quite. The actual closest you will find is the American fire hose 2" straight thread, designed to use a gasket.
Thanks for the clarification. The fitting is apparently close enough, since it is working with no leaks. Looking at the prices here

The pipe dope solution is working just fine. I could of course use the intex supplied parts but that would mean reducing the ID of the pipe and getting some flow restriction
