    Installing a MX8 automatic cleaner

I am attempting to install a MX8 automatic cleaner. I discovered that I have a side wall suction line, but the center of the plastic plug is broken and I cannot get it out. The plug looks like a Hayward SP1022B Vacuum Plug, with a single plastic area to grasp for removal. That is what's broken. (Sorry, I don't know how to attach photos yet either). Any suggestion for removal without damaging the interior threads? I would be grateful for any assistance you could offer. Thanks.

    Hello Venice14. Welcome to TFP.

I post my pics using from my laptop. Others use tapatalk if they are using their phones.

I can't answer your original question but maybe someone else can.
I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!
