I just bought a house with a 30,000 gallon pool. The bottom of the pool had a crack about 20 ft long (not straight line). It has been repaired, everything seems to confirm that it is not leaking.
The repair work was poorly done cosmetic wise. The color of the filling material is a lot darker than the white plaster, so it looks awful. It is my intention to sell the house soon, so I don't want to spend a fortune re-plastering the whole pool+spa.
Can anybody suggest an economical alternative? Also I would like to know your opinion about draining the water for any kind of repair. is it too risky? May the crack open again due to the unbalanced pressure at the bottom?
