hey all getting the pool ready for this weekend. its been covered since the conclusion great algea war of '14.

water looks great!! been checkin FC and CC every few days and its been great.

I just wanted to post my numbers to make sure everything was copacetic.

CYA - 40 (target 30 to 50)
FC - 6.5 (target 6)
CC - 0.5 (target 0)
TA - 90 (target 90)
ph - 7.2 (target 7.4???)
ch - NA

everything is great except the ph. it says to add like 8lbs of borax. the ph is so close and ill have a ton of people in the pool this weekend is it ok to leave it?

I was also going to bump the FC up to 10 or so just as a preventive measure.

also do all the targets seem good?

manual bleach vinyl liner etc.

pH will rise when people start splashing. Leave it alone. The CC should burn off with the cover off and sunlight on it. Yes, raise FC before the mob hits.
