"High Salt Level" flashing on my Circupool si Series SWG

My SWG has been flashing "high salt". I have been draining water & adding fresh all wknd. Last night it read 4500 ppm. I got up this morning and it jumped back up to 4900 ppm. How could I have more salt than 12 hours prior, when none has been added? Not to mention, my test strips show my salt levels way lower than that! Help!

 Welcome to TFP!!!

I would get another independent test of your salt level ... what does a pool store think you salt level is?

Most SWG have 2 salinity readings. One is an average and one is instant ... they may not match perfectly all the time.

My si45 has had a flashing high salt reading since installation. The instant has been reading over 5000 and is generating chlorine just fine. They are supposed to stop generating at 5500ppm and 2500. If it doesn't stop, don't worry about it.
