    Red face Another Newbie Here!

Hello! I am so thankful to have found this site!!!! I also want to thank Dave for being helpful with my test kit Taylor k2006. We built our pool August 2013, and did not have a clue about taking care of it. We had a relatively good PB but had a few issues with our build & equipment. You know, things go wrong. Anyway,
my chemistry was way off at the beginning of April. Huge swings in PH

So I started reading Pool School, made some mistakes and I think I am on the right track!

    Here are my current stats:

    FC 5.5
    CC 0
ALK 80 (it hovers at 60-80 most of the time)
    PH 7.4
    CYA 70
    Borates 50
    CH 300
    Water is crystal clear.

    Thanks so much for helping!!!!

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
