What size filter?

Hello!

New to the site. I have a 30' round pool and am looking to switch to a cartridge filter. I have a 1HP pump and am wondering what size cartridge I should use for the pool. Thanks.

Welcome to TFP!!!

Based on the pool volume, I would suggest something around 300sqft. But since you are in a short season area, going smaller would be fine as well. The bigger the filter, the less often you have to clean it.

In my case, I went with the biggest that would fit on my pad. ;-)
