what size eco pump to get

folks, the old pump died last week. i want to get a variable speed eco pump but don't know which ones can handle 70000litres for our above ground pool. trouble with asking at the pool shop is they will only discuss the pumps they have for sale. i have been looking at the davey powermaster eco but i have read that its only good for up to 50k litres. can anyone assist? if it makes a difference, we are in brisbane, australia.

    Welcome to TFP!

A 1 HP pump should be fine for your pool. The davey powermaster eco appears to be a little larger than 1 HP, though I'm not completely sure I understood their literature.
