Cyanuric acid % confusion

What is the difference between Liquid and solid? Im using the pool school calc and want to understand the % difference between the two. The solid from what i see on the canister says 100% Cyanuric acid. What does the liquid contain?

FYI, I have a 4545 gallon intex vinyl, swg, shooting for 70'ish for my Cyanuric acid. The solid canister says 3 lbs per 10000 gallons, that doesnt seem to match with the calc??

I put in 1 lb last week this week reading 30 cya. does that seem right?
 
Who cares what the canister says ... trust PoolMath ;)
One pound would add about 27ppm of CYA to your pool, so yup, sounds about right. (Did you try using the Effects of adding chemicals section at the bottom of PoolMath?)

I am not sure what the % is in the liquid and I am not sure why it matters at this point why the liquid is different since PoolMath will calculate for either one.
