You need to start adding chlorine and CYA, not at the exact same moment, but fairly close together. Test the FC/CC level half an hour after adding chlorine, and if it is back to zero you need to SLAM the pool, while if it has fallen by half or less you are probably good to go and just adjust the levels as needed.

Longer term you will want to lower TA a bit, but there is no rush on that.
