    Sand Filter Pressure Gauge

I have the Intex Krystal Clear Sand Filter. I never see fluctuations on my pressure gauge. Does this mean I am doing something wrong or there is something wrong with the filter?

It reads zero when off no? And what does it read when running? I wouldn't think it would not fluctuate much unless you were creating a lot of algae for instance.

It reads zero when off, but never raises more than a tiny amount. It has never gotten up into the "warning" level, even when I've been slamming it.
