Extending an intex hose?

Is there anyway to extending this type of intex hose by connecting another one to it?

A small adapter that I could screw each side into would be ideal but I don't know if that exists!

I screwed a 2" PVC pipe fitting on to my waste port on the 6 way valve. It went on about 2 threads before it go tight. I did use plenty of thread tape on it. Hasn't leaked yet.... but then again, its not under any pressure at all on the waste port.
